Professional Partnerships and Affiliations

Our assessment community is strengthened by our relationships with other assessment, real property appraisal, and land use disciplines. We take special pride in our relationships with our national and international partners:

Interprovincial Professional Property Assessors of Canada

AAOM is a participating member of the Interprovincial Professional Property Assessors of Canada (IPPAC), an organization that provides leadership across Canada to provide professional, high quality assessment services.

Interprovincial Professional Property Assessors of CanadaThe provincial assessment associations of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario support the formation of a virtual umbrella organization that will support leadership, communication, career and education opportunities, and provide support to its members across Canada who in turn will provide professional, high quality assessment services.

The virtual umbrella organization is the result of more than 30 years of discussion in regards to shared member services for little or no cost to its combined membership of 3,000.

This agreement includes a program that sets a high standard for National Assessor Qualifications thereby providing wider recognition of the profession of assessment in Canada. Educational standards are a prerequisite for involvement in the interprovincial body.
