Nelson Karpa, AAMNelson, as the City Assessor and Director of the Assessment & Taxation Department of the City of Winnipeg, retired effective Friday January 4th 2013. Nelson was an advocate of the AAOM and he will certainly be missed. Nelson isn’t retiring from the working world though-he is taking on the position of City Assessor in Calgary. We wish him well in his new job!
