Congratulations, AAM Designees:
Congratulations to the following members of the AAOM, employees of the City of Winnipeg Assessment & Taxation Department, for completing the requirements listed in Regulation 1 Assessor Qualifications (January 1, 2014).

- Ryan Valderama (#224)
They applied for and received the Accredited Assessor, Manitoba (AAM) designation on February 13th, 2015. Both Heather and Ryan will receive their AAM Certificates at the Annual General Meeting in May 2015.
Retirements:
Tim Furlong, a long time member of the AAOM , retired from Provincial Assessment Services in February. Tim has renewed his membership in the AAOM for 2015 even though he will be moving back to Saskatchewan to become the City Assessor in Prince Albert.

Life Memberships:
The following former members of the AAOM retired from working in the assessment/appraisal field in 2014, and were recently nominated for Life Membership in the AAOM due to their volunteer efforts and service to the Executive Council.
- Brent Gillon was a member of the AAOM for 33 years and served as a Director for several years, as well as serving as Vice-President;
- Glenn Leskiw was a member for 36 years and served as Secretary-Treasurer, Director, Vice-President, and President.
Both Brent & Glenn will be presented with a Life Membership Certificate at the Annual General Meeting in May 2015.
