Mirek Frolek reports that the Public Relations Committee strives to increase the public exposure of the AAOM.
He is pleased to announce that Sauder School of Business at UBC now includes the Association of Assessing Officers of Manitoba in their list of professional associations which recognize the Real Estate Division’s credit programs.
Small things can have a large impact, and the inclusion of the AAOM among other professional associations is one step to enhance the identification and recognition of the AAOM; the AAM designation; and our professional standards.
The following description is published in the Real Estate Division‘s web and print media:
Association of Assessing Officers of Manitoba
The Association of Assessing Officers of Manitoba (A.A.O.M.) recognizes the Certificate Program in Real Property Assessment as a starting point for their core education requirements to achieve the Accredited Assessor, Manitoba (A.A.M.) designation. The A.A.O.M. is an affiliate organization of the International Association of Assessing Officers (I.A.A.O.) and recognizes RES and CAE courses as meeting some of the requirements for the A.A.M. designation.
