Mirek Frolek reports on the AAOM’s summer tradition–the Annual Golf Tournament.
The AAOM Annual Golf event was held on June 27, 2013 at The Meadows, East St Paul.
A total of 12 golfers participated in the 2013 tournament.
Everyone enjoyed themselves–despite weather extremes during the day, which consisted of some warm temperatures, a hot sun, a torrential rain storm, and some wild winds –all within a span of five hours.
The golf tournament is a great opportunity to network, share stories regarding different aspects of our profession in a relaxing atmosphere.
I would like to give specials thanks to Dave Penner and Larry Barthelette who shared some stories about going to the Board of Revision and Municipal Board.
On behalf of the AAOM, I would like to acknowledge and thank our generous sponsors who provided prizes for the tournament. The sponsors were Shapes Fitness, Red River Community College, CUPE, The Wellness Institute, and The Manitoba Liquor Commission.
