Renewal of Voluntary Re-certification Program

The previous 4 year Recertification cycle ended on December 31, 2011 – and the Education Committee’s Recertification Board was hoping to have a new Program in place to present to the members in 2012.

At their meeting on January 24th, 2013, the AAOM Executive decided that the Voluntary Recertification Program that was in place from 2008-2011 should remain in effect for the time being.

The new cycle will run from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2015 and AAM members will need 20 credits (same as the last cycle) to recertify. As at January 1, 2012 – all AAM members have 0 (zero) credits.

If you have any Recertification Credit Forms from 2012 that you want to submit for credits, you can send them to the AAOM, P.O. Box 2178 Station Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R5, or give them directly to the current Recertification Board Chair.

A Recertification Listing showing credits as at December 31, 2012, will appear in the 2012-2013 Annual Report which will go out to all members in early April.

In order for the Board to have time to enter the credits submitted, the deadline for receipt of 2012 Recertification Credit Forms is March 15th, 2013. You can continue to send in your Recertification Request forms as you complete them.
