The Vancouver Sun reports that as many as 55,000 British Columbia homeowners are now above the previous year’s  $1.1 million threshold for receiving the provincial homeowner’s grant on their property tax.

The highest assessment was $63,870,000 for a home in Vancouver’s Kitsilano district.

Vancouver home:  nearly $64 million in assessed value for 2016.

Number two was in Point Grey(Vancouver) at $57,058,000.

Third place went to a property in the Gulf Islands which clocked in at a mere $51,621,000.

If you are heading for the coast, please remember to take your own refrigerator box.
