The Jetsons’ new condo near the Disraeli: it came from Outer Space?
The Jetsons
Just off Waterfront Drive, between Heaton and the Disraeli freeway, a flying saucer is taking shape. 5468796 Architecture’s new condo project is essentially a two-storey disc, perched on 35-foot stilts that will not be enclosed. The 40 units are all 610 square feet with identical pizza slice-shaped layouts. Raising the building improves the views, allowing it to float above the less than desirable surroundings.
Looks perfect for the Jetsons.
